Malek has 27 years of communications experience, including more than 24 years with Leo Burnett. He heads, on a creative level, the Levant region and Procter & Gamble’s account across CEEMEA. In 2015 he was appointed Global Creative Director on the Laundry Business.
He is known as someone that puts his best efforts, with his teams, onto giving a human and insightful voice to the MENA Advertising, while pushing the limits of creative excellence.
As a result, Leo Burnett Beirut has constantly been across the yearsthe most awarded Beirut-based agency in the world and was the first Lebanese ad agency to ever be ranked among the TOP 10 agencies in the world in 2013 and number 5 in 2016.
Malek has a very strong understanding of his target audiences due to his extensive knowledge of several industries FMCG, telecom, cars, food, banking. He launched in the region most of the big Telco names like Saudi Telecom or du. He also handled for several years brands like General Motors, Emirates and Mc Donald’s for the MENA Region.
Since the start of his career, Malek has received prestigious awards and recognitions from Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx, Epica, Cresta, One Show, Clio, D&AD, LIA, Adfest, Gloden Drums, New York Festivals, European Cristal, Loeries awards etc. Mostly awarded for integrated campaigns that engaged large audiences and helped to change the way the people think and feel. According to the Big Won Reporthe was ranked the most awarded Executive Creative Director in the world in the year 2015.
