Pavel Golovkin

Pavel Golovkin is a interdisciplinary designer with a great sensibility for beautiful, minimalistic, and functional products and services. At the core of his design methodology is the goal to simplify people’s lives. Originally born in Siberia, he started his design endeavours in Moscow and is currently working and living in New York City.

In Moscow, he co-founded FIRMA, a prominent branding and design agency that immediately impacted the design scene within Russia and beyond. Departing FIRMA, Pavel expanded his design skills working with bluechip clients such as Google, Bacardi Limited, Pepsi Co and MTV Networks across the US, Europe and Asia. Throughout, his design expertise has been vital within projects, receiving awards at the Cannes Lions, Golden Drum and Epica Awards.

In New York City, Pavel works as a Design Director at SET Creative, a distinguished brand experience and multimedia design agency. His current client roster, includes leading brands such as Verizon, Nike, YouTube, Spotify and Volvo, to name a few. 

Pavel is also the creator of ZONT, a pocket-size music synthesizer which has been awarded with the 2017 Red Dot Design Concept Award. Zont has been praised by the design & music industry alike being repeatedly featured in leading publications including WIRED, FACT Magazine, The Verge, FORM Magazine and Engadget. In addition, Pavel held multiple lectureships at Parsons School of Design, New York, and Raffles Design Institute, Singapore mentoring aspiring designers.
